Railway Electrification & OCS
Overhead contact systems, catenary components, cantilevers, clamps, connectors, droppers, insulators, tensioning equipment and support structures.
SIMI Rail supports electrification and overhead contact system packages by connecting project requirements with qualified manufacturing partners in China.
Components are supplied according to the drawings, specifications and standards defined by the project, with engineering communication handled by our Shanghai-based team.
Because OCS packages combine many small interfacing parts, we work from the project component list and clarify each interface, material and surface treatment requirement with the manufacturer before production is released.

Where it is used
Electrical and mechanical interfaces
Current-carrying capacity, contact geometry and mechanical load requirements are confirmed against the project specification before manufacturing starts.
Materials and surface treatment
Copper alloys, aluminium alloys, stainless steel and galvanized steel requirements are defined per component, including coating thickness where specified.
Interchangeability
Where components must fit an existing installed system, samples or reference drawings are used to verify dimensions before series production.
Project sequence
Requirement review
Component list, drawings and applicable standards are reviewed with the customer's engineering team.
Partner selection
Manufacturing partners are shortlisted based on the specific component group and required processes.
Production coordination
Production planning, samples where required, and progress reporting through manufacturing.
Inspection and delivery
Dimensional and surface treatment checks, packing control and logistics coordination.
